Calls for Papers

IIS Journal welcomes manuscripts for its general issues and for confirmed thematic collections. Calls for papers identify areas where new interdisciplinary sustainability research is especially needed. Authors should read the complete call and the Author Guidelines before submitting.

How to Submit

Prepare the manuscript according to the Author Guidelines, create an account, select the correct call during submission, and upload all required files and declarations. Mention the call title in the cover letter. Submission to a call does not guarantee inclusion; every manuscript follows the journal’s normal editorial assessment and peer-review requirements.

Propose a Thematic Collection

Researchers may propose a focused collection when the subject is timely, academically meaningful, and aligned with the journal’s scope. A proposal should state the theme, rationale, expected contribution, proposed editors, target research communities, indicative timeline, and plan for attracting high-quality submissions. Approval does not authorize organizers to guarantee acceptance or use the journal’s name before written confirmation.
