Authors are encouraged to read these guidelines carefully before beginning the submission process. Following these requirements helps ensure an efficient editorial review and publication workflow.

Before You Submit

Before submitting your manuscript, please ensure that:

• Your work falls within the journal’s Aim & Scope.
• The manuscript is original and has not been published previously.
• The manuscript is not under consideration by another journal.
• All authors have reviewed and approved the final version.
• Ethical approvals have been obtained where required.
• Conflicts of interest have been disclosed.
• Required declarations have been completed.
• All supporting files are ready for submission.

Failure to meet these requirements may delay editorial processing or result in rejection.

Manuscript Preparation

Authors should prepare manuscripts using clear, concise, and professional academic language.

A complete submission should normally include:

• Author names and affiliations
• Corresponding author details
• Abstract
• Keywords
• Main manuscript
• References
• Figures and tables
• Supplementary material where applicable
• Funding information
• Conflict of interest declaration
• Acknowledgements (if applicable)

Authors should ensure that all information is accurate and complete before submission.

Figures, Tables and Supplementary Material

Figures and tables should:

• Be clearly labelled
• Include descriptive captions
• Be referenced within the manuscript
• Be submitted in suitable publication quality

Supplementary files may include datasets, appendices, multimedia files, software, or other supporting material where relevant.

References

Authors are responsible for ensuring that references are:

• Accurate
• Complete
• Consistently formatted
• Cited appropriately within the manuscript

References should include only sources that have contributed directly to the submitted work.

Use of Artificial Intelligence

Artificial intelligence tools may be used to assist with language editing, grammar, translation, or similar support activities where appropriate.

Authors remain fully responsible for the accuracy, originality, integrity, and scholarly content of their manuscript.

Artificial intelligence systems cannot be listed as authors.

Where AI tools have made a material contribution to the preparation of the manuscript, authors should provide appropriate disclosure in accordance with the journal’s policies.

Submission Process

Manuscripts must be submitted through the official online submission system available on the IIS Journal website.

During submission, authors will be asked to provide:

• Manuscript information
• Author details
• Required declarations
• Supporting files
• Additional information requested by the Editorial Office

Authors should retain their manuscript tracking number for future correspondence.

After Submission

• The Editorial Office performs an initial screening.
• Suitable manuscripts proceed to editorial assessment.
• Eligible manuscripts enter peer review.
• Authors receive editorial decisions through the online system and email notifications.

Where revisions are requested, authors should respond carefully to reviewer comments and submit revised files within the requested timeframe.

Publication Fees

Where applicable, publication fees are requested only after a manuscript has been accepted for publication.

Payment has no influence on editorial decisions or peer review outcomes.

Author Responsibilities

Authors are responsible for ensuring that:

• Submitted work is original
• All listed authors have made appropriate scholarly contributions
• Research has been conducted ethically
• Required approvals have been obtained
• Conflicts of interest are disclosed
• Data are reported honestly and accurately
• Significant errors discovered after submission or publication are promptly reported to the Editorial Office
